DJ Apeman cheats death

Celebrated Kampala DJ, DJ APEMAN (real name Kenneth Kayiwa) has everything to be thankful for to the lord after escaping death after a fatal accident earlier this week.

The accident occurred on Sunday November 20th as ‘The Silverback’ returned from a gig in Fort Portal with his crew.

According to the turntablist, the accident happened after a big trailer approached him with full lights on. The misty conditions did not make things any better and the DJ who was driving his black Nissan Elgrand tried to swerve. He lost control of the large luxury passenger van which was badly destroyed. He, however, escaped unhurt but three of his passengers got bruises.

Sadly, one DJ Sparkle who was traveling with him was not as lucky and died on the spot.

Golola Moses kicked out of hotel

No, its not for none payment of bills. Larger than life, celebrated Ugandan kickboxer Golola Moses has been kicked out of the Kabale hotel where he has based his training camp ahead of his forthcoming fight with Hungarian Andras Nag.

The African kickboxing champion was kicked out of Bushara island camp on Lake Bunyonyi after several complaints from guests especially foreign tourists over his intolerable noise while training at night.

Reports indicate that clients at the hotel told management that they were scared of Golola’s antics and noise during his nightlong practice sessions.

‘The man who can tear pages out of facebok’ has since moved to White Horse Inn.

Bushara Island camp manager Jasper Musinguzi confirmed the decision to throw out Golola

Golola Moses had earlier complained of the weather changes in Kabale claiming that the weather had become warm of late in the South Western district unlike in the past when the area used to be cold.

He is also reported to have fallen in love with Bakiga’s energy giving porridge called ‘Enturire’.

He takes enough of this porridge after a hard day’s work crushing stones and doing drills through the rough terrain of the area.

SEAN KINGSTON IN BAD ACCIDENT!

Pop singer Sean Kingston who is due to perform in Kampala this July 29th has stabilized and been moved from the intensive care unit of a hospital after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge, his publicist said Monday.

Sean Kingston and a female passenger were injured when the watercraft hit the Palm Island Bridge around 6 p.m. Sunday.

Reports state that a passing boater saw the accident and took the two on board his vessel. Both were hospitalized early Monday at Ryder Trauma Center.

His publicist said authorities are investigating the crash, and that “nothing at this point would indicate that alcohol played a role,”.

Ugandan music promoter, Hemdee Kiwanuka, who took the artist for a concert to Tanzania last year and believed to have a hand in his upcoming Ugandan date posted this on his facebook page this afternoon (Ugandan time)

After Bebe Kool threatening in his usual hot air style to bring in Sean Kingston to the country, its now official…

Sean Kingston will be coming to perform in Kampala, Uganda on July 29th, 2011. The 21 year old singer/song writer was born in Miami, USA and later moved to Kingston, Jamaica when he was six. He burst on to the music scene in 2007 with his smash hit “Beautiful Girls” and since then has never looked back putting out numerous chart topping singles including: “Me Love”, “Take You There”, “Fire Burning”, “Face Drop”, ”Eenie Meenie” and “Letting Go (Dutty Love)”. Sean Kingston will jet into Kampala in the last week of July prior to his concert.

The singer/dancer gave birth at the upscale Nakasero Hospital. Both mother and son are doing great.

For sure the printers have made their killing from all the posters there is to print but another category making money are the artists who grace rallies, or have recorded songs praising the candidates. You heard about Hilderman and the Toyota Ipsum he got for singing the Amelia song at her campaigns, there is Bebe cool who chose to campaign for the Movement, instead of his father and then there was talk of Jose Chameleon redoing the song ‘Basiima Ogenze’ in different languages for the Museveni campaign. Well, songstress Juliana could be the latest big name to reap from the campaigns after she did a song for the Movement campaign. STEAK OUT MANAGER – OMUZINYI OMUKUGU IN GANG ATTACK!

Steak Out manager Kenneth Sekyana, popularly known as Omuzinyi Omukugu on facebook is recovering after being attacked by one of the notorious katayimbwa gangs.

According to his brother, Fred, Kenny was attacked near his home early Saturday morning by a group of men wielding iron bars (mitayimbwa) and pangas (machetes). They cut him on the hand (which he had raised to defend himself), above his eye and on his cheek then clobbered him before taking off with his phone, belt, wallet and an undisclosed amount of money. He received treatment at Kampala Hospital in Kololo and was due to be discharged Monday morning.

A lot of get well soon messages have been pouring on the controversial but amiable Omuzinyi Omukugu’s facebook page with a lot of his friends wondering what happened to him and his condition.

We’d taken the site down temporarily to upload this new look but been pressured to put it up before its complete due to overwhelming demand.

We would like to thank the Toilet Pepper for writing about the website in the gutter press. You have no clue how many hits we got after that. You can now write that the site is up and looking fresher.

You can also continue stealing our entertainment stories (isn’t that what brings you here anyway?).

And just so you know, nothing you write about Exit Kampala or its management can break us. Nothing!

GNL ZAMBA IN TROUBLE OVER ASSAULT, FRAUD.

Lugaflow king GNL Zamba is in trouble over allegations of assault by a one Beck Mirembe.

exitkampala has established from sources that the rapper got into an altercation with the Swedish based exgirlfriend who is in town briefly at Club Silk last Tuesday (wednesday morning) after which she filed a case against the Kikankane singer at Jinja rd police station under file no: SD Ref: 03/15/09/2010 at Jinja road police station.

She also alleged fraud saying the rapper borrowed 2 million shillings from her which he failed to pay back (the reason he assaulted her when she tried to ask for it back).

GNL, who spent two nights in police cells, on the other hand told reporters that the girl was just a smitten fan who wanted to have an affair with him and it is because of his rejectingb her advances that she was framing him.

The woman who has been has been linked to former Barcelona and now AC Milan Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic however says that there is no way she can be desperate to have an affair with the rap star and would only be doing him a favor if she even considered it.

Herbert Wanyoto, head of CID at Jinja road police says they gave the two parties the option of resolving issues out of court but clearly, this option had failed.

MEGA DEE`S CAR IMPOUNDED

Its not cool runnings at singer Gen. Mega Dee’s Afande records as misery keeps piling upon misery.

Recently, he had a flopped concert at Kati Kati grounds in Lugogo where a jamaican artist was supposed to be the star attraction but that did not even happen.

Well, now his vehicle, a navy blue Mitsubishi Challenger, registration number UAJ815J, has been impounded. It is said that Mega Dee had not completed payment for the vehicle and had promised to pay after the concert but when the concert flopped, the dealers decided to attach the car till he clears them.
