Ugandan girl group Blu3 has been nominated for two MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) this year.
The band, currently touring the US are nominated for Best Group and Best Performer. Should they win any of these award, it will be the first time an MTV African Music Award is coming to the country.
To vote Blu3, send two separate SMS to the phone number 7070 from any network.
The first message should say: BGBLU3
The second message should say: BPBLU3

A new club is to open its door in Kampala even as the club scene gets more competitive with the launch of Silk Ocean and Angenoir Discotheque undergoing renovation.
The new club will be an exclusive one with a capacity of not much more than 50 people and targets the creme de creme of this city, not just every Tom, Dick and Sagara with entrance expected not be anything less than 50,000 shillings per person.

Sanyu listeners must have noticed by now that Angela Kalule, the Lounge at Eleven and Intimate connection presenter that goes by the radio name ‘Angel’ has been missing from the air.
Rumours were rife that she had quit to join another radio station but Sanyu General Manager Betsy Mugamba told exitkampala.com that the singer/presenter had not left to join another station.
